TD13-Is the Tribulation approaching?
There’s a lot of speculation amongst the “religious” community that we may be soon approaching the tribulation. Of course, we’ve heard this time and time again since the resurrection of Jesus. But, it hasn’t really fit the biblical prophecies or timeline, with certain elements in place to allow for the rise of the Antichrist and or the introduction of the mark of the beast. However, when you take into consideration the prophecies that have been fulfilled, what’s left to be fulfilled, and the current situation involving the U.S., Israel, Palestine and many other countries, it makes sense that it could start soon. Many folks believe that the Abraham accords could be a significant/prophetic peace agreement that may provide the pathway for the rise of the antichrist.
Whether or not the agreements are signed, maintained or broken, as Christians, believers/followers of Christ, we do know that Jesus will return. There’s also other indicators aside from the Abraham accords that folks can consider when it comes to the timing of the event. It’s a touchy subject for many. A lot of folks don’t want to think or talk about this topic and also deem those who do, crazy. It’s a scary and concerning thought for probably the majority of folks. But, in reality, the return of Jesus is something to celebrate and look forward to….if he’s your Lord and Savior.
Folks, there’s a lot of scripture that addresses “the end times”, prophecies, days leading up to the tribulation and rapture, and return of Christ. As I’ve stated many times in the past…..DO NOT TAKE MY WORD FOR IT….open the Bible and read about it, pray, build a relationship with Christ, talk to your pastor and or folks you know are strong in their faith. But, to name a few books, chapters and verses….read Matthew 24, 1st Thessalonians 4 and 5, 2nd Timothy 3, Mark 8:36, 13:32, 1st Timothy 4, 1st Corinthians 15, 1st Peter 4:7, Joel 2:28-32, Daniel 7-12, Revelation and more. It’s important to read about this time period and prophecies to gain an understanding of the significance of current world events. With that being said…..I stand firm on not taking my word for it. This is just an article written by someone you don’t know, who has no more information than anyone else…..and I, nor anyone else, knows the exact time, day or hour of his return. But the Bible is clear, there will be signs that indicate the season of his return.
In theory, some believe that the Abraham accords (guided by the UN charter and international law), will bring together, ten key nations from which the antichrist may arise. But, there’s also many other, what some may call, key factors or supporting evidence that lead some to believe that the Tribulation could begin soon. One key factor that stands out to me, is what has happened to the church, the messages given and the false prophets who lead so many congregations across this country and across the globe. I hear and see so many religious leaders and pastors feeding the church, lies and false hope. Many of today’s “pastors” run their own private business from the pulpit. They keep the people coming back through manipulation, feel good messages and assurance that “you’re good” as long as you keep coming back…..and of course, giving.
AI is another thing all it’s own. I am not a tech savvy person and have little understanding of it aside from it being artificial. With AI being relatively new to most folks, and given that it’s just now being implemented on a global scale, I don’t know that any of us have a clue as to how things may change in the days ahead. And it’s something that’s happening seemingly fast. So, the reason I’m so adamant that you open your Bible and read it yourself, is because we really don’t know if the YouTube videos we watch of folks “sharing the gospel”’are real and or true. Being that, nowadays, we can’t even trust that what we see is real, you certainly shouldn’t trust in writings outside of the Bible.
There’s also the up and coming trend of government owned grocery stores and food markets. This has and is happening all over the world….and also in the U.S. Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s truly great that folks who need this assistance will get it. There is a growing food crisis around the world. So, the availability of food isn’t the concern. It’s the ownership, the developing financial system and the future restrictions and requirements one may need or have to abide by in order to obtain food.
Financial systems around the world are struggling and or failing. A global or one world currency already exists as finance has become overwhelming digitalized and cryptocurrency is on the rise. The Bible also clearly addresses this situation which will assist in ushering in the mark of the beast. The Bible specifically says that no one will be able to buy or sell without it. And….the Bible is also clear about the consequences of refusing the mark. The short term consequences will be grave and those who refuse it will suffer greatly, face starvation and persecution. And that’s the intent, its purpose is to isolate and make known, those who refuse it and who believe in and follow Christ. It will be a true test of faith, but for those who endure, the reward is eternal and it will please the Lord.
There are other factors of great significance that folks can point to when considering the time leading up to the tribulation and return of Christ. This may sound unkind, however, it is true….whether you believe it could happen soon, later or never….whether you believe in God or Jesus, is irrelevant. Whether it’s something you want to happen, don’t want to happen or believe is a hoax….truth is truth and Jesus will return when God sends him. There is absolutely nothing that man can do to change that or delay it. Like it or not, reject it or not, believe it or not….it applies to everyone. God has given everyone free will to choose to accept his son, salvation, love and forgiveness and him as God the creator, and ruler of all things. Or, unfortunately, you have the option to refuse, reject and face the reality of eternal separation from God, Jesus and all things good.
Whether the time is near or not, it is coming. But, now is the time to evaluate yourself, your relationship with Christ, your understanding of God’s word and what it truly means to follow Christ and give yourself to him completely. There’s a lot of things in life worth procrastinating, but the assurance of eternity in heaven is not one of them. And even you don’t believe the time is near, no one’s promised anything….not tonight, tomorrow, or the days ahead. Your relationship with Jesus, asking for forgiveness, knowing he’s your savior, and that you will spend eternity in heaven with him is urgent. And you’re future depends on it. Don’t allow the world’s momentary distractions separate you from eternity.
